Listen Up! Netflix
Netflix Listen Up is a feature I dreamed up after running into the same problem over and over—hearing a song in a movie or show, loving it, and then totally losing track of it. Either I’d forget to look it up later, or I just couldn’t find the right song because there wasn’t a clear soundtrack list anywhere. So I thought—why isn’t this easier?
It’s a new tool built into Netflix that lets users quickly find a movie or show full soundtrack. Right on the “About” screen of a movie or show, there’s now a button that opens up the soundtrack. From there, you can instantly jump to your music streaming app of choice (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) to listen, save, or add songs to your playlist.
There’s also a real-time detection feature—so if a song is playing in the background and you happen to love it, you can just pause, and Netflix will detect the song for you.
