Everything is Boring
For my degree project, I decided to explore boredom as part as the creative process.
For the semester, I explored different ways to game and not lose interest. The project took a turn when I recorded and edited a lets-play and that's when I realized that I needed to contextualize the way I game in order to spark excitement.
To further explore that idea, the biggest research I did was an interactive installation in collaboration with a friend and peer that reimagined spaces to create shared experiences through gaming and karaoke.
From that, my final deliverable was formed and it consists of a game I made in Roblox. There is no objective in the game but the point was to just create without worry. The game is supposed be a random space with no rooms having a connection.
