This festival is all about horror grounded in truth—films based on real events that blur the line between what’s imagined and what actually happened. And that’s what makes it so haunting. It's not ghosts jumping out of closets. It’s the feeling that something’s off.
CAPTUS is designed to reflect that uneasy and eerie feeling. It doesn’t look overly scary on the surface—because real-life horror rarely does. Think haunted houses that look totally normal from the outside, but hide something deeply sinister behind its walls.
Visually, I leaned into that eerie realism. Inspired by actual events and police reports, I reimagined case files and evidence photos as part of the posters and programs. It’s subtle, unnerving, and grounded—just like the stories the festival is showcasing.
